The way we work has significantly changed over the last 18 months thanks to Covid. All businesses, in all industries, of all sizes have been affected – some more than others. How we work, operate businesses and communicate with each other, clients and suppliers has never been more under the spotlight or vital in order to continue trading.
Many businesses at the start of the pandemic simply weren’t ready or set up to suddenly switch to remote/home working with little warning and had to quickly implement ways for staff to have the right kit to be able to access data securely whilst keeping safe and following government guidelines.
Now 18 months later many businesses / individuals continue to work remotely if not for the whole working week then at least for some of it. In-fact 79% of senior business leaders and 70% of general public surveyed said it’s likely that people will never return to offices at the same rate as before the pandemic*
With remote and home working looking like it is here to stay is it time to check that the temporary measures you may have put in place to enable home working are robust enough to provide what your business and staff need long term so they can collaborate and work together with minimum disruption? If you’re in any doubt about your current set up or you’d like to future proof your set up please get in touch on 01226 704 610 and we’ll be happy to help.
